Welcome to Habitat for Humanity Orillia/Lake Country
|
Habitat for Humanity Orillia/Lake Country was founded in 2005 and, since that time, with the support of a very generous community and our national sponsors, we have assisted four families to attain the goal of homeownership.
Our goal is to continue to build more homes for low-income working families and to break the cycle of poverty in our communities. The service area of Habitat for Humanity Orillia/Lake Country covers the Townships of Ramara, Severn, and Oro-Medonte, including the City of Orillia and Rama. This site contains all of the information you will need to donate your professional services, donate funds, donate land or volunteer support for Habitat builds, serve on the board of directors, our many committees or volunteer in our ReStore. We would also appreciate the support of some of our larger companies to sponsor a build or arrange a group build for their company employees. Working Together as a Community, we can provide hope in the future for a low-income working family, especially for the children--together we CAN AND WILL make a difference! Our Vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Our Mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promotiong homeownership as a means to break the cycle of poverty. Our Values include:
Building Homes, Building Hope. |
